Cairns Holiday Specialists have a range of Accommodation and Tour Websites in the Far North Queensland Area. These sites all have the same identity creating a smooth transition for the visitor to gain information on the areas best accommodation, region guide and tours with lists of things to do and general info for the perfect tropical North Queensland Getaway. The Brief was to integrate all the sites maintaining the same visual look and feel of each site so the User Experience was the same no matter what Geographical location they were looking at.

Design
The Design was inspired by the idea of having an Online Brochure for each type of website. We took this idea and integrated into the companies websites which feature, Accommodation, Tours, Conferences & Weddings. We decided to use Cairns Holiday Specialists Logo as inspiration for the colour palate. We looked at the existing design and whilst working closely with the client decided on what the user experience should be and how the navigation should work.
We then progressed to develop the Look and feel by designing Widgets, Banners and promotional web material to suit our clients needs. The main Template colour changes depending on the website type. Gold for Accommodation, Red for Tours, Navy for Conferences. As all the sites link we wanted the user experience to match the website they were coming from yet for the website to have its own identity.
Content management system (CMS)
Cairns Holiday Specialists also required a Content Management System (CMS) so they could fully manage the content on their websites without the need to contact a web developer or designer. After consulting our client we set out designing the CMS and the front end look and feel of the websites. We developed a template that is flexible and has several different layout options whilst still maintaining the same style.
We also had training sessions and created a user manual for our client on how to use the CMS so the hand over process ran smoothly.
Product management
Our purpose built management system allows simple loading of the accommodation product and rates to the various site from a centralised management area. Seasonal rates, packages, stay pay deals, specials etc can all be published and booked.
